Registration

Students wishing to attend Playa del Rey Elementary School for Universal Transitional Kindergarten -5th grade are required to live within Playa's attendance area. Each year, some permits are issued by the Principal's discretion after careful consideration of availability.

• Universal Transitional Kindergarten-child must be 4 between June 2 and September 1, 2023
• Transitional Kindergarten - child must be 5 years old between Sept. 2 - February 2nd
• Kindergarten - child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1st
• First Grade - child must be 6 years old on or before Sept. 1st
